Suzanne Somers is the author of Breakthrough: Eight Steps to Wellness which discusses the LifeWave patches.

Suzanne Somers (born Suzanne Marie Mahoney on October 16th, 1946) is an American actress, author, and businesswoman. Best known for her role as the ditzy blonde Chrissy Snow on the ABC sitcom Three's Company, she also had a noted starring role on the sitcom Step by Step as Carol Foster Lambert. She later capitalized on her acting career by also establishing herself as an author of a series of self-help books. She has released two autobiographies, two self-help books, four diet books, a book of poetry entitled Touch Me, and a book about hormone replacement therapy. She currently features items of her design on the Home Shopping Network.

Instead of pursuing elective chemotherapy after her treatment, she chose an alternative therapy using mistletoe injections. Suzanne Somers is a natural health advocate, and has successfully beaten cancer by means of incorporating an organic diet and so-called "alternative" therapies into her lifestyle. Suzanne Somers is also a supporter of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Her book, Ageless includes interviews with 16 leading practitioners of bioidentical hormone therapy, but gives extra discussion to the Wiley Protocol.

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) is the use of supplemental doses of steroid hormones with a chemical structure identical to endogenous human hormones (hormones naturally produced in the human body). Generally BHRT is prescribed to relieve the symptoms of menopause, though more recent therapies promise anti-aging effects and possible deferral of the diseases of aging. BHRT differs from conventional hormone replacement therapy, which by definition uses animal or synthetic hormones whose structures are similar or identical to those produced in the human body.

Editiorial review from and the Barnes & Noble Web site:

Who would have guessed that Suzanne Somers, who played the conspicuously ditzy blonde Crissy Snow on Three's Company, would emerge as an articulate, respect health advocate? In Ageless and The Sexy Years, Somers offered readers valuable information on the benefits of bioidentical hormone therapy and alternative cancer therapies. In the aptly named Breakthrough, she taps the expertise of numerous top doctors and researchers for fresh tips on keeping us alive and well.

Life-Altering Secrets from Today's Cutting-Edge Doctors and the #1 New York Times Bestselling Author of Ageless.

Book cover of Suzanne Somers Breaktrough: Eight Steps to WellnessToday's most trusted advocate of antiaging medicine, Suzanne Somers, deepens her commitment to helping people lead healthier, happier lives by opening their eyes to cutting-edge, proven remedies and preventative care that most doctors just aren't talking about with patients: longevity medicine and the more progressive study of bioidentical hormones.

As we age, certain hormones diminish, creating an imbalance that can set off everything from perimenopause to cancer, beginning as early as our thirties. This hormonal imbalance is causing many to feel depressed, anxious, fatigued, sexless, sleepless, and ultimately ill, sometimes even terminally. What's more, Somers and twenty doctors in the field of antiaging medicine argue that the processed chemicals in foods and pharmaceuticals we ply ourselves with are actually slowly eroding our bodies and minds. So we are getting slammed twice. From estrogen dominance to deceptive thyroid problems, people are suffering, and most don't have access to the treatment they truly need to get better and thrive . . . until now.

Breakthrough explores cutting-edge science and delivers smart, proactive advice on the newest treatments for breakthrough health and longevity. In addition to being a pioneer in a rapidly growing health field, Somers is a passionate, caring individual whose own life was derailed by disease and brought back to unimaginable, feel good heights that she wants you, too, to experience.

Somers' new book Breakthrough: Eight Steps to Wellness devotes an entire chapter to David Schmidt and LifeWave.

Here is a brief description of her book:

"In interviews with the most progressive doctors in the field of anti-aging medicine, #1 New York Times bestselling author and trusted health advocate Suzanne Somers uncovers enlightening, lifesaving information. Spending the time that you just won't have with your own doctor in today's challenged medical environment, she shares the 8 Steps to Wellness formed from the extensive research she has done with these physicians practicing 'Breakthrough' medicine."

Here are a few excerpts from Suzanne's book, and what she has to say about David Schmidt and LifeWave:

David Schmidt is a scientist, the inventor of the LifeWave technology and founder of the LifeWave nanotechnology patches. As a result of work performed for the design of emergency Oxygen systems for General Dynamics and the U.S. Navy, he was invited to participate in the Navy's next generation minisub program. He has received an honorary doctorate from the International Hall of Fame. He was formally educated in management information systems and biology at Pace University in Pleasantville, New York. He went on to specialize in energy production technologies for both military and commercial applications. He developed new methods for producing hydrogen and oxygen and constructed metal combustion rocket engines.

In other words, this is one smart guy. In this interview David will explain in layman's terms the science behind his remarkable LifeWave nanotechnology patches. I have been using these nondrug patches for pain, sleep, energy, appetite control, and detoxification for the past two years and I can't say enough about them. After you read this interview you are going to want to run to his website to get some for yourself. Sometimes things are too good to be true; these patches are simply good and true.

Not only this, but Suzanne Somers will also be conducting interviews in Canada and the United States with such well know shows as Nightline, Good Morning America, the Today Show and Larry King, and she will be talking about the life changing experiences she has had with LifeWave!
